Saw them in 1979 where they were the support band for AC/DC at Hammersmith Odean...

The drummer had both his arm then too.

Saw them at the Marquee Club at the beginning of 1980. I remember thinking that it felt a bit odd seeing kids younger than myself on stage at the time.

Re: Def Leppard
Saw them a couple of years back at the O2. Was expecting a washed up act with voices shot and just another overhyped pay day but they really were excellent. Still sounded great, got the crowd engaged and put on a really decent show. Now pour some sugar on me.

Saw Joe Elliott with Ian Hunter (Mott the Hoople) as the Down n Outz at High Voltage Fest in 2010 in Victoria Park, ELP's crew pulled the plug on them as they were overtime and a punch up took place by all accounts

I hated these spandex wearing stupid haired cunts at the time. My contempt has waned over the years.

Re: Def Leppard
simon, yeah, Joe Elliot is a Blade and I think one or two might be Owls fans except for Phil Collen who used to be a WHU fan, but not sure if he still is?

Re: Def Leppard
I saw Joe Elliot in the boardroom at Sheffield United, looking very much out of place amongst the old suits. Pretty sure Sean Bean was in there too.
